1. Condileeza Rice expected to testify on Thursday 1/11/07

It looks like Sen. Biden is going to go right after the Bush Admin right away. C-Span said this morning that it look like Condi will be called in next Thurday.

This should be good.

Congress convened. The White House has to share the megaphone now with others who are espousing views that contradict theirs.

This is going to be very, very interesting.

5. Hmm . . . will this only be broadcast on CSPAN3? I don't have that

channel. Maybe they'll replay it in the evening. Because I really, really want to watch these hearings.

6. That schedule hasn't been announced yet

If Condi testifies, it will probably be on C-Span 3 or on the Committee room website. C-Span is dedicated to showing the House. (That's what it's mandate is.) If the Senate is in session, then C-Span 2 has to cover that. (Again, Rules of C-Span and of the Senate.) That only leaves C-Span 3.

I have a feeling this will be a big deal and should be covered on the cable channels. But, we shall see. Condi may actually be the first big name in the Admin to be summoned to appear before the new Committee. It could get real interesting, real fast.
