Wow! Real oversight. The toughest questioning that any Bush official has faced over Iraq occured today because the Democrats are in charge now. Wow!

Thanks Sen. Kerry for all you did to help elect good Dems to the Congress. You were right, we needed to "take it back and throw them out." What a difference. Like sunshine streaming in after a really gloomy night.

1. Just by coincidence, I was able to catch the end of the questioning

and see MY senator Webb talk. Everything he said I agreed with. And, who, of course, used to sit in that seat? Barfbag, of course. So you're right -- this was a big, big deal, and has had a huge impact on how this administration will be questioned and investigated.

Can't wait for them to show it tonight so I can see Dodd, Kerry, and Hagel who from comments on the other thread were very, very good.

5. I don't get C-SPAN3 but last night they showed the SFRC

hearing on C-SPAN (1 or 2) late at night, so I taped it. I'm sure they will definitely show the hearing from today tonight, too. We'll just have to check the schedule.

3. Congratulations especially to VA and PA folks

What a difference! No Santorum, but we had a very reasonable Sen. Casey from Pennsylvania telling Condi to remember that real names and real people are attached to those KIA reports. Gawd, that was insanely great!

Two years ago I discovered I had a deep and abiding dislike of Sen. Barfbag. Virginians made my heart beat a little faster when they dumped that dumb bag of rocks from the Senate. Sen. Webb was just amazing today. (I had tears in my eyes.)

Doesn't democracy just rock when it works?
