His foreign policy experience is likely limited to getting funding from Indonesia and China (leaving Democrats tainted with campaign financing corruption) and GLOBAL CROSSINGS - a bit of corrupt practices.

Kerry has been complimented by foreign policy experts on his foreign policy knowledge and diplomatic skills. (It was noteworthy that the Clinton who gave the fall 2006 foreign policy speech was named Bill.

I don't see any JK people there. They're ALL Clintonistas, which is exactly what bothers me. . . as do the various articles which report Hillary's extreme emphasis on loyalty. (Remind you of anyone currently in the White House? )
Wa Po said nothing about McAuliffe there, though he sure seems eager to be part of their fund-raising operation , even if he's not yet. . .????

Thanks for bringing this article to our attention, Wisteria. It's chilling, especially the extended parallels (eagerly pumped by McAuliffe) to Maggie Thatcher, and McAuliffe's assumption that she would win. I was going to put up excerpts, but it's hard to decide which part is most important, or most disgusting. Uggh!

I continue to believe that she's going to tank during the primaries.
McAuliffe may believe that people will "just love her" when they get to know her; but he also asserts that the Clinton marriage is "just great".

This has to be stopped.

10. They look like they were the people added in the general election

with prior Clinton ties. Interesting that a Kerry Rapid Response person (close to Schumer) would be picked up by McAuliffe. After what he said in the book, that seems hypocritical. (Hillary may not be able to use Kerry's choosen method - get out the truth.)

Kerry in the general election pulled in people from all the other candidates - that always happens. I see no names that were in the 2 books I read on the primaries. The only Kerry person I heard she got was Peter T (something) who was the interface to the blogosphere.

That's the problem. Never having run a national campaign, and having to trust people who will be running themselves next time. Kerry should have been able to trust a former president. The people around Hillary have their corporate hooks into DC, and the bad-mouthing started early, not that mistakes weren't made.

Some of it was McAuliffe not having done his job for years, beyond fund-raising. Regardless of loyalties.

I agree that lack of media, time to bond, even learn about the facts, was what lost it for us, and for a race that DC beltway felt we couldn't win. Part not wanting to help with a losing proposition, as well as waiting for 2008. We remember the lackluster, and inadequate support among the electeds.

As I said on another thread, I don't believe people went to the polls understanding why they needed change, or what they were losing in not having Kerry. That is media saying Bush is better for their business and consolidation.
