Kerry speaks out about Bush foreign policy--trashed by right wing blogs
It's nice to see Kerry able to speak out so forcibly, with no more fears about how it will play to swing voters and no handlers to hold him back.

The importance of Kerry's words can be seen in his statements themselves as he says that under Bush the US has become "a sort of international pariah."

Needless to say the right wingers are furious. Great. Kerry also had comments criticizing Bush on AIDs in Africa which the right wingers try to refute, claiming Bush has given considerable assistance. I responded with a link to criticism of Bush for his pandering to the religious right which led to a insufficient number of condoms in Africa.

Let Kerry be Kerry. Maybe, like Gore, he will gain a new following and have another shot at the Presidency. If not, we have a much more powerful Senator speaking out.

Pamela, did you notice that Blue Crab Blvd also knocks your response in an update to the post you linked to? There's a track back from your post to there which they comment on, but I don't think they actually linked to your post in their reply:

It's astounding how they twist the Kyoto vote that was non binding.

Edited to add, I think I will update my post with a note to Blue Crab and the links on JK's Kyoto stance.
