Honoring Brian Freeman
Violet needs our input on honoring Brian Freeman at the Kerry blog:

http://blog.johnkerry.com/2007/01/brian_freeman_an_american_hero.html

I hope everyone here will take time to comment over there. This is important.

2. Please
Please go post. The "campaign for our country" needs some ideas on where to go next.

Please, please go express your opinions on what you think should be happening with setadeadline.com and "the campaign for our country".

I know you -- there are lots of opinions lurking out there. Please get them on the table at:

http://blog.johnkerry.com/2007/01/brian_freeman_an_american_hero.html

Thanks

6. What do you mean by banners?
And please make the suggestion on the jk.com blog because the people who need to see these suggestions are going to be watching that blog post.

So please go ask for whatever you want over there.

Thank you.

I don't know precisely what the apology is for but here's the point of my response to your post.

I'm thrilled that you have an idea and I'd like to understand more about what you mean by banners. How would they be used? Are we talking banners for a website or something someone orders for a march or peace gathering or parade?

There are other people who are going to be involved in actually making something happen on the setadeadline.com site and the "Campaign for Our Country".

My encouragement of posting over on the JK site is because that is the location that they're monitoring and it's good for them to see that there are people who are interested and proposing ideas. The more people who post over there the better so that they understand that a lot of people are serious about supporting this.

The post or its brevity was never intended as a slight in any manner. Merely a somewhat terse encouragement to share your ideas where they will have the most impact on the decision makers.

Okay?

10. Already suggested it
Privately. Banners people could grab for their web sites. My brevity is intended to allow the leaders to lead and stay the hell out of the way. Experience has taught me that is best.
