I loved how he immediately stepped up and defended Gore. His answer on Fox was interesting and kind of shows where he was going. It is unacceptable that Fox condemns what he paid to have done, but can't say sorry of that it was wrong.

The Iraq stuff is great and really does show why he can say things now that people don't want to hear.

5. Interesting bit of synchronicity near the end - CAFE standards

JK brings up how he and McCain tried to increase the CAFE standard and change it to include vehicles like the one he gets criticized for driving.

Hmmm, that amendment was the one I just posted about the other day:

6. That was my reaction when I heard the interview yesterday

that I knew all about that amendment - thank you for wading through that confusing mess. Having read the parts of the record that you pointed us to, I understood what specifically Kerry was speaking about on the cars.

However, if he reads here and saw that, couldn't he have gotten a user id and explained the convoluted way they killed the amemdment? He has said that he and Teresa do read blogs. You would guess he might look at a group named after him.

I thought the part where he talked about Foxy was interesting. He said it wasn't that fun questioning him because it made him remember "all that junk", and he couldn't believe the guy's response was "well, everybody does it". Really good that he defended Gore (Kerry's a good Dem -- why can't all the other Dems be like him?). Good interview.
