"The juxtaposition of the conviction for former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby should send chills up the spine of the Justice Department hatchet men who fired eight U.S. Attorneys since December, and the White House hacks who blessed it. It's nice to see someone finally be held accountable (Libby) for destroying someone else's career (Valerie Plame) and then lying about it. But Libby should be the first domino to fall, not the last, because there are countless ruined careers strewn in the wake of the Bush machine. Some of the more explosive Congressional testimony is summarized below. I don't think I can stomach listening to the afternoon House hearing."

1. I got that one right away

Excellent work by Jesselyn. AGain.

2. I liked the juxtaposition of the Libby actions and the attacks on lawyers.

The way Bushco went after her is the same thing they did later to the Wilsons, and after that the lawyers.

Today is a day we will look back on and see this. And all of the real justice began with just a few brave whistleblowers like Jesselyn Radack, Wilson, and later others.

3. When I first heard about BushCo firing the prosecutors

it occurred to me that they may also be trying to use it to intimidate Fitzgerald.

4. they're using it to intimidate the whole DOJ.

There's lots of whistleblower wanna-be's (I bet) and I hope they're stashing their evidence in a safe spot. Of course, knowing how criminal minds are always full of paranoia, I bet ya all these DOJ people are wiretapped, video'd, and maybe can't even use a restroom without a spycam. (Just a guess on my part. No evidence to support this theory.)
