the feminization of Dem male candidates, part deux
Here is an extension of the topic Glenn Greenwald recently wrote about--how the right seeks to de-masculinize Dem male candidates. (Kerry mentioned):

Listed out together, it's shocking to see the extent of this particular smear. I didn't know it was so pervasive, and apparently coordinated.

note: they couldn't actually portray JK as feminine--that would have sounded too ridiculous. So they focus on his being a "gigolo", living on the wealth of women. And then there was the "metro-sexual" thing which pretty much failed.

1. It is rather hard to feminize
a 6 ft 4" war hero, who played 4 sports, flew a plane and hunted. But they did try.

The gigolo thing didn't make sense either as he had jobs like prosecutor, Lt Governor and Senator.

With both, what they attempted to do in both cases was to diminish who he was. They also were an attempt to make him seem less serious than he was. That was why the debates were so important.
