Clinton was excellent, as usual. He spoke with passion and he really told some interesting things. I agree with him that it wasn't just the so-called charimsa gap that done us in in '04. (Who thinks * has charimsa. Hell, he can't even spell it.)

I like the emphasis on values and on getting to the folks who didn't vote at all before.

That was a nice and very quick event. Good luck to Howard Dean. He is going to need it. I saw another piece in Roll Call todya and the knives are out for Dean amoong the consultants class. The first thing he needs to do is talk with those folks and tell them that they work for us, we don't work for them.
