I just got my official membership card today in the mail. I was kinda disappointed that it was a paper one, but the clinging decal they sent with it made up for it. The decal is now up on my iBook. :bounce:

I fully support them on most matters, except for their stand on a couple of issues like pornography. BTW: Michael Dukakis, (Who I think rules) is an ACLU member, too. And Poppy made it into big frikkin' issue.

5. I just joined the Sierra Club

My two hot-button issues are stopping the war in Iraq, and saving the environment. So it was something I could do for #2. What was it Ghandi said? You have to "be" the world you want?

But I kept putting it off, I need to send it in. I joined a local environmental group and support PIRG. I want to join Emily's List too. So much to do, so little money. :(
