Senator John Kerry will deliver the keynote address at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette Visions Ceremony in Worcester, Mass., on Monday, February 14.

Senator Kerry will discuss his plan to strengthen our military in his first major speech in Massachusetts since the election. In his address Senator Kerry will discuss his plan to strengthen our military by increasing the size of our armed forces and by standing by our military families.

The Worcester Telegram and Gazette Visions Ceremony is an annual event honoring those who excel in serving their communities. The Visions Ceremony was launched by the Telegram and Gazette in 1991. This year they will honor five people for achievements, leadership and service.

6. The Note: What this speech is about

Sen. John Kerry:
A Kerry adviser tells us that in his speech, the Senator will say that "supporting the troops" means changing defense systems, budgets, and planning, expanding the Army and Marines, and re-think training for soldiers. He's also planning to talk about an idea he pushed during the 2004 presidential campaign — a Military Family Bill of Rights.

This week, Kerry will introduce a bill to increase the military by 40,000 troops — 30,000 Army and 10,000 Marines.

It took just under 4 hours for you to see that word. You are slipping.

Edit: that sounded snippy, so I broke-edited it. It just struck me as funny that it took 4 hours to notice, but not in any bad way. It's probably me. I am generally waaaaay to genteel to write things like this, so of course, I shouldn't expect people to notice.


I was actually thinking of massage oil, but my brain is refusing to cooperate today and is coughing up the wrong words. (Or I am Freudian slipping again.) I have some lovely oils that I bought in Salem. There is nothing more refreshing than a nice massage.
