1. I'd loved to meet John Kerry.
I'd love to hug him and then say, "That was for voting down FMA and DOMA." He's a sweetheart.

13. It was during the DNC!
I got a pass to a more exclusive outdoor event by chance because my group ran into the director of the College Dems of America in the subway. The event was to welcome Kerry to Boston and we made our way to the front of the long line of crazed supporters.

He gave a few words with his band of brothers and we got to shake their hands, then Kerry came up to us to shake our hands. Of course I turned into a nervous wreck because the man was bigger than I thought and it was JK!! I began to blab about how much I appretiated his efforts and how PA is behind him! I don't even remember everything I said to him I was rambling so much. He said thanks and told me to make sure students were on his side and continued mingling with the supporters. He was incredibly nice and made sure to talk/hug/shake hands to nearly everyone he could reach.

I was a mess the rest of the day. :bounce::bounce:

14. Thanks. WOW, the DNC! That rules even on
PBS it frikking ruled. I can't imagine what it would have been like in person.

I think I'd either blab or hide behind something if I saw him. So shy.

10. that's what happened to mines and i got it fixed
it was still under warranty since i bought it less than a year ago and they had fed ex pick it up last monday and they delivered it on wednesday fixed.

it's probably just going to keep getting worse until it doesn't work anymore so you should get it checked out by someone as soon as you can. that's what kind of happened to mines. at first it was just a little bit but then it kept happening after just a few minutes . sometimes it wouldn't even turn on all the way.

12. It would definitely be cool
there is something about him - just from hearing him speeches on TV -that makes him a very compelling person. I would love to hear him speak, so I hope when he does talk about his Kid's first thing, he comes to NYC or NJ.

And if we all see him, we'll have even better information on the range of his eye color. (a sentence I never thought I'ld write about a politician before reading posts here!)

15. I've seen him twice in person (live in a swing state--lol)
Once got within about 5 ft. while he was in a rope line shaking hands. Outdoor rally. Looked so handsome and distinguished! He seemed like the President already!
Second time indoors when he gave a speech in Milwaukee--I got a handshake that time, but didn't get to speak to him. At that time he had gotten quite thin (mid-Oct.) from the campaign trail.

18. I saw him at a rally...
...and I made a huge fuss, screaming and swooning and what not, and he waved to me and gave me the thumbs up - I literally almost pissed and fainted. The Secret Service actually came over and asked me if I was alright, and did I need first aid?

(No joke, there.)

I didn't think saying to them "What I need is the John Kerry hot beef injection RIGHT NOW" would go over well, so I just whimpered and collapsed. I have pretty much been a drooling basket case ever since.

If I ever actually touched him and he spoke to me there is no doubt I would mess my pants and become catatonic, after falling face first into his groin.

We need to get you to Boston or DC at once.

Ahm, There is this Small Business Hearing ths week and he should be there as he is Ranking Member. (And you know you want to post on that title. I know it, and you know it. Either here or on another forum.)

Also, Condiliar Rice is testifying to the Foreign Relations Committee this week. That might be a good place for a sighting as well. (capitalhearings.org has the schedule.)
It is actually easier to see Kerry in DC than Boston. Maybe we should meet in DC.

38. Your political stance is great
and there are sure to be variations among all of us - it doesn't matter who is more left, or if you are having "political mood swings" - what counts is we are all here for each other, and we are.

So keep rocking out!

Who gives a shit what they think? If they have to put others down in order to cling to an inkling of self worth, too bad for them. Anyone who needs to tear down RANKING MEMBERS of the party, or fellow supporters in order to get a rise is lame and not worth yours, or my time.

Their little "lefter than thou" act is lame and tiresome - and I doubt anyone filled with that much nastiness and pettiness really stands for anything at all, except their own warped, overinflated sense of self-importance.

Fugg em.

Can't make this stuff up. Has to be official.

41. Masterbation post! I love it! I got a similar response in GD
a couple of nights ago when I started using my new Howard-Dean-topless-sig (see below).
This one female DUer (not mentioning name!) wrote back "Don't post Howard Dean pictures they make me horny!"

And then she did another one "err unnhhhh ummmmm errr shwing."

Couldn't resist it so I wrote: "Are you choking? Should I call The Doctor?"
