Poll question: Meet in Boston or DC this summer
Meet in the swamp that is Washington DC in summer, or the lovely environments of Boston (which can also be like a swamp in July.)

1. Hey Gallup
That was NOT an unbiased poll. Some liberal you are. :P

I vote for DC because it's A) about 300 miles closer and B) familiar to me somewhat (I could navigate the metro successfully, for instance and C) more than likely where Big John is.

4. Yeah DC would be awesome
Plus then you wouldn't have to worry about making it. And it would be a lot easier for me to get to as well.

As much as I would love to go to Boston, I dont know if I could make it, but DC I could easily make.

6. Or the Oregon coast
Hehe, I just threw that in there for fun. Doesn't matter to me because either one costs me the same amount to get to.

7. Hah
I dunno, I could go for a campout with Big John.

"Oh, what, someone forgot a tent? Well, it's okay, you can sleep in mine, John."

13. Well, I'm the petunia in the onion patch
Okay. DC. (But I'm not bitter, oh no, not bitter at all. Go ahead, diss the old home state, we can take it, we've been dissed before. Cry. Sob. Cry. Why, oh why doesn't anybody love lonely little Massachusetts? Is it something we said? Oh woe is us, unloved in the world.)

No someone else more familiar with the Capital City must make arrangements, where to stay, where to eat, where to drink, etc.

I shall still attempt to make a meeting with the Senator.Let's see, the Senate is in session in July, but the Senators bounce around a lot. They are usually in DC Tuesday - Thursday. So we must have a layover till a Tuesday.

15. DC, DC, DC! But, doesn't Senate go
into recess during August. Then he'd be in MA windsurfing, I think not in DC.

I'm down for whenever but my traveling companion is taking summer school. August would be the only time I may be able to go
