Yes...the golden rolodex was really used as an analogy, but that's because she was explaining to others the importance of his endorsement or any other organization's endorsement.
Also, I didn't think she acted 'amazed' at the national email network. In fact, what I heard was her impressing on someone the importance of his national email network and that he's still strong enough with the network and money and the political setup to actually be useful to the candidate he chose to endorse--Obama. She explained why Hillary wanted it so much.
I truly didn't hear any snark or meaness in anything she said about kerry today.
Regarding your comment about the agenda--I just didn't hear it the same way as you did. In fact, I felt she spoke about him having an agenda and that Obama would be able to help his agenda happen. That is actually true--it's the reason why anyone endorses a candidate--they feel that that person suits their agenda.
Regarding the "Position himself with Obama"...once again, that's not what I heard. She had Richardson's clip, and she played his interviews when he drops out. She spoke about how Richardson would like to have a position in the new administration. She also had clips from Richardson where he spoke about that type of thing too. That HE intends to be a 'mover and shaker' in the West and that he looks forward to helping... Richardson's statement was not specific to Obama. It was specific for the next nominee.
I truly don't get any of the comments in here.
I'm wondering about if we listened to the same show or if we just have different biases.
I am not all that thrilled with some of the things RR says, but I do like to think that I can be fair. (Just like I try to be fair to anyone.) I'm sorry but I didn't hear any of the rudeness that you describe.
In fact, quite the contrary. She stated outright that she doesn't believe in bashing democratic contenders and she doesn't take sides, because she doesn't want to give listening Republcans or independents a reason to not vote democratic. She did unconditionally endorse Gore should he run.
