I've been away for awhile. Could you kind Kerrycrats help me get back up to date about what's happening here at DU? I'd be most grateful.

Thanks!

5. Welcome back!
Not much. You know how it is when you're trying to save a nation. Bills get filed to protect Veterans, their familes and their basic rights. Someone has to protect Small Businesses, and we know it won't be the Rethugs and their 'hand everything over to Corporate America' agenda. Vote against limiting Americans right to sue in court for a redress of greivances. (Even though the REthugs won that won, at least some people know the difference between right and wrong and vote accordingly.) Kiss, kiss with Hillary and make sure you sign up for actual democracy and to have every cast vote counted. That sort of thing. It's been a very busy week.

Now, where is Seito? Miss ya!

I am in Boston this weekend at a Con. Let you know if I make it with my son over to Beacon Hill. The Herald had a funny story (in typical Herald putdown fashion) of how my esteemed Senator had to have a space shoveled out in front of his house and then had to place a chair there in order to save the parking spot. (Love that story. Maybe it's a Boston thing, but chairs that save parking spaces is very democratic to me. And a very old tradition. It's so 'back to the people' but in a sweet way.)

6. I saw a story on one of the news channels about how Boston wasn't going
to allow that anymore because it makes it hard to plow.

When was the story in the paper? Was it recently?

7. We do that with chairs in Baltimore, too, hon!
Your "esteemed Senator" above is Kerry, right? Can't imagine it to be Kennedy (esteemed yes, but I can't think of him doing something so common)!

Please tell us about the convention.
