Okay, Senator Kerry has said that on or around June 2nd, the Global Warming Act will come to the floor of the US Senate for debate. This bill is 5 years (or more) in the making and is the first significant piece of legislation to seriously deal with the problem of climate change.
There have been hearings going on about this topic since the beginning of the 110th Congress.
Another significant hearing (not with Sen. Kerry, but still significant.)
