i don't think all of the people in Kerry forum vote in those polls or we would be much further ahead than we are. the thing is, i think most of the time it's Clark supporters that START the polls so they go post links on all the Clark forums on other sites to tell them to come vote ;)

12. I voted
But you know how these polls on DU are......"USELESS" LOL They are always wrong. So even though I vote in them I don't let the results upset me in the least.

I had a dream last night that JK was the president--sorry to wake up out of that one. He was in France walking through a crowd, waving and smiling at everyone, and all the people were going wild, cheering and loving him. Sigh.

7. I was thinking the same thing
I hate to admit it being a hard-nosed, clear-headed scientist and all but I do believe MAYBE, SOMETIMES these things can happen.

If you subscribe to string theory maybe it's one dimension (there are 11!) bleeding into another.

9. I have a dachshund and a beagle
But to be fair the dachshund is the neurotic one. The beagle is classic beagle - good natured and ruled by her nose and stomach. The doxie is waaay too needy, greedy and self-involved. But ALL my dachshunds (3 I've personally owned, 5 since childhood) have been neurotic.

Been checking out my profile, huh? :hi:

10. I like to figure out who is who and where they are from so I know people
a little better. I hate it when people put undeclared for gender - just a little pet peeve.

I grew up with a dachshund. He was supposed to be a miniature but he just kept growing. He was a standard size. You don't see very many of those. He was a great dog.

I have a Bassett Hound now but he is extremely laid back which is good since he moved into a territorial cat's home, and had to deal with 3 babies showing up within 3 years.

11. Hey, us too!
Our biggest dachshund ever was one that was supposed to be a mini! All of ours have been standards; I like their personalities a little better. But I figure when I get too old to carry a standard up and down stairs, I'll switch to minis. I'll always have doxies - there's just something about them.

I've heard that bassets are pretty laid back dogs; I think they're so cute - especially when they're puppies.

So you have 3 kids, a dog, and a cat? Talk about a full house!
