What the HELL is going on? I am at work, but can afford to take it really easy for a while, so for the second day I listen to CSPAN2 while doing some trivial stuff with my fingers and eyes. Did the republicans win recently and I missed it? Do they still have very close to a majority in the Senate and I missed that too? Did the democrats in Congress (House primarily, but not only) decided all of a sudden that the best way to support a brand new and desperately desired and desperately needed democratic administration is to do almost anything imaginable to come up with a bill that goes against the message of the aforementioned administration? And has Obama decided that having tax problems (real or exaggerated ones) is an almost pre-requisite for being part of his administration, else he will not get enough support?

To recap: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!?
