He was on the tape there about a half an hour into a session that started at 5:15 pm Jordan time. (10:45 am DC time) - he gives a great comment at about 41 minutes in worth listening to.

on DU. They hate Kerry and swiftboated his war record even before the swiftboaters did.

3. In a related question, I have seen a couple of people saying that Kerry laughed and agreed with

Baucus when he said there should be more police.

Personally, I think Baucus was damned wrong. Single payer people should be at the table, through responsible organizations like Pnhp. But I have seen Baucus's clip and do not see Kerry agreeing. Did it happen.

8. Anyone trying to frame Kerry in this way on health care is

an asshole. Kerry has been fighting for health care reform for a long time. In fact, some of the best parts of all the Dem candidate's plans were based on his platform. This is a good clip of Kerry pointing out that Medicare and Veterans health care are single payer.

Those are important things that depend of a committee he is part of. Would be nice to see his name on the list of co-sponsors. Hopefully, it will come soon.

At least, Kennedy coming back gives me some hope that we will get some meaningful battle and that Baucus will not be left to his own devices. I just wish I was as confident concerning Kerry.
