Vice Admiral Lee Gunn, USN (Ret.) to Testify on National Security Consequences of Climate Change

On Tuesday, July 21, 2009, ASP President Vice Admiral Lee Gunn, USN (Ret.) will testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the national security implications of climate change. Admiral Gunn will discuss how the impacts of climate change, including loss of fresh water supplies, disruptions in agriculture, the spread of tropical diseases, human migrations, and rising sea levels, constitute a clear and present danger to the security of the United States of America.
