Obama choses to host world leaders (G20) in Pittsburgh

One venue is the working farm of THK. (I wonder if part of the reason is that the convention center is green - unless I confused it with something else in Pitsburgh. The article mentions the conservatory is green.)

1. If I remember correctly from TMOE....

...Pittsburgh has made a lot of green innovations as it transitioned from the industrial age of steel production. THK wrote a lot about that in the first part of the book.

On edit, it starts on page 13. I may need to re-read TMOE before this debate heats up.;)

2. That was what I had thought

The description of the conservatory sounds great. I wonder if this means that Obama will call for action on climate change at this event. If so, the setting is great - and Teresa was one force that made it that green. (It would be great if people learned even a little of what she did on environmental issues.)
