That Vanessa Kerry, the M.D. daughter of Sen. John Kerry, will tie the knot with her doctor fiancee Brian Nahed next weekend at the veddy posh Brandegee estate in Brookline. Vanessa, in her final year of residency at Mass. General Hospital, plans to go into global health and health-care policy as well as clinical medicine. Her hubby-to-be is in his fifth year as a resident in MGH’s Department of Neurological Surgery . Nahed is doing research on glioblastoma tumors, the type of brain cancer that afflicted the late Sen. Ted Kennedy .
