Former Senator Warner supports the Kerry-Boxer Climate change bill.

And, he is working on trying to convince his former Republican colleagues how important it is to pass this.
I will add that he is not 100% behind the bill,saying it is more or less a work in progress, but he sees a need to get this passed.

I have always liked Senator Warner ever since I saw that debate between him and Senator Kerry over the Iraq War Resolution. He is an open-minded person who is not overly partisan and wants what is best for this country. A true patriot like Senator Kerry.

a pretty decent climate proposal with Lieberman in the not too distant past? I do not remember the details. Warner was definitely one of he decent ones, and it's tru;y stunning how few Rs are left in Congress that the word "decent" can be applied to.
