son of Kathleen Sebelius and a Rockefeller daughter
met in Iowa in October 2003 . (To refresh your memory, this is when JK was in the ditch, when he was, to quote James Carville, "so done his toast was buttered on both sides"). So I give these guys credit for smarts and clear-headedness, and a good sign of a marriage based on shared values.
Also, glad to see a Sebelius that energized for JK.

Rockefeller Jr. of Lexington, Mass., was married Saturday to Edward Keith Sebelius, a son of Kathleen G. Sebelius and K. Gary Sebelius of Topeka, Kan. The Rev. C. Read Heydt, an Episcopal priest, performed the ceremony at the Gasparilla Inn and Club in Boca Grande, Fla.. . .
The couple met in Iowa in October 2003 while working on the presidential campaign of Senator John Kerry.
“It took me a year to get her to go out with me,” he said. “She was dating someone else, but I thought she was cute as a button, and she is very involved in the causes she takes up. It was pretty easy for me to pick her out of a room of the 150 staffers involved in the campaign.”
As a way of explaining why she “wasn’t smitten instantly” with Mr. Sebelius, Ms. Rockefeller revealed: “His sense of humor is his best characteristic. But he took his job very seriously, and I didn’t see that sense of humor come out until about a year later.”
