1. Side note
A certain local pol in that area is going to be running for higher office this year. He has been hitting every Dem function in the State for the past six months. He sends out hand-written cards and letters to everyone he meets at those breakfasts.

I have taken to teasing my husband mercilessly by saying that so-and-so wants you, real bad. He has a bad mancrush on you and wants you to phone bank for him.

All teasing aside, well, ah, that's how it's done. how it should be done.

4. How I wish someone were recording these speeches on video!!!
This is the kind of thing that brings out the fire in JK and I'd love to see it! I have to agree with one of the comments at that BMG diary -- I imagine it's quite likely that the teabagger element will backfire on Brown.

5. I have to say, I'm impressed by how Coakley has woken up
... and stepped up her game.

Plus, she's got so many GREAT people on her side.

Is that rally on video anywhere yet?

6. Since I'm still stuck in California
odds are that no one videotaped it. But you never know.

11. That is great
He was very very good at the end - and it is amazing that it was only a bit more than a week since his operation.

15. Shouldn't he be off his feet, I wonder....
Was he standing (can't watch)? In any case, it's great that he is pushing so much for this. Got another email this morning from JK via the DSCC, I guess most people here got the same, thanking me for the recent contribution, and asking if I can spare a few more bucks (which I did, but really the bare minimum). The email was full of fighting words "We can't let the tea baggers win this one". I agree 10000%, we really can't.

13. be sure to watch BOTH parts. . .
there's a link to part 2 in the right corner of the frame of part 1. And a link to Clinton's speech from part 2. .

((n case it's not obvious already, this video is from FRIDAY's rally, in Boston, with Clinton. . not the Worcester rally.. .)

14. Thank you so much!
Just watched both videos... and I have to say, I LOVE that man. Such passion, such humor, and fire. He was especially touching when he brought up Teddy. And I loved when he caused a stir by "dishing the dirt" on Brown!

:loveya: -- and did you notice the positive responses got all the YouTube mojo?

8. True
Not to mention, at the Somerville town hall, he asked his supporters to allow a teabagger to ask a question with the same politeness he showed everyone. Given the teabagger view of Kerry, there is some possibility that they will be rude, but as we know he is quite capable of giving them hell, without losing his cool.

That could really backfire on them because MA does not share their opinion.

10. And they are coming to Boston, home of the original Tea Party
and telling us what our local history means. Ah, they are telling us what it means to be a Patriot and start a Revolution.

The arrogance of that is unbelievable.
