Very nice article on Tassy Warren, wife of Setti Warren lots of Kerry mentions

Kerry said he remembers the night Tassy and Setti met in Chicago: It was at the Drake Hotel, and was the same evening Kerry first met Barack Obama, when the future president was still Illinois’ senator.

“They’re a wonderful couple,” Kerry said of Tassy and Setti Warren, and he is proud of the couple’s role in Newton.

“They’re carrying on the fight to make things better for people,” he said.

Kerry knew Setti through his father — the senator and the elder Warren met in the early 1980s, when Kerry was lieutenant governor under former Gov. Michael Dukakis.

The families are close: Kerry was a groomsman in the couple’s wedding, and he and his wife, Teresa Heinz, are Abigail’s godparents.

1. Nice article
Late congrats to both Setti and Ayanna Pressley on their election wins. They were one of the few bright spots when most of the analysis focused on the lack of minority voter turnout in VA and NJ, for other key races, and whether or not Obama/WH should have jumped into the fray.

Speaking of Ayanna, she was great on Basic Black this week. You can tell where she got that from :). Good stuff there. http://www.wgbh.org/basicblack/

Don't know what the Senator's staff is like, but hope that he has some good, friendly, hardworking people to replace those two. Wonder if any of members of Kennedy's staff joined him?

Understand they were very loyal to Uncle Ted, but heard (per article B. Globe) that Brown was going to retain some of them as his staff members (yuk! but not surprising).

2. He is retaining one aide, a case worker working on immigration issues.

but one case worker on immigration issues accepted Brown’s offer to join his staff.

3. Interesting. One isn't bad
It's not like he will have 10 of them. He should find his own people.

Sounds like a GOPer (she may not be one?) wrote this, with the "Rock Star" quotes and all. And some of the comments. :eyes:
