Wow, fascinating! WJC backs JK's energy bill
Edited on Tue Mar-16-10 04:29 PM by Luftmensch067
March 16 (Bloomberg) -- Former President Bill Clinton today endorsed efforts led Senator John Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, to craft a compromise on climate-change legislation.

Kerry is “trying to give us an energy plan that will create lots of jobs and improve our national security and I basically went there and said I agree with him,” Clinton told reporters after a Capitol luncheon meeting with lawmakers.

JK is really building bridges in an interesting way.

1. He really has worked hard to get support wherever it was likely
Nice quote from Clinton. (Kerry was very complimentary to Gates and Clinton in their recent SFRC hearing.)

7. YES!
(One of my several frustrations is that I've run into self-described environmentalists even in MA who don't seem to see this. .totally astonishing. hopefully, they're starting to get it now!!)

6. It is a great picture - and the article is actually very good
Bill Clinton looks healthier in that picture than he has looked in a long time. (It really is hard to believe that Kerry is nearly 3 years old - he looks a decade younger)

Kerry looks very happy and relaxed there.
