If this is correct, Kerry is in the Middle East again
"Whitney Smith, spokesman to Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass), has a list of recess pleasures: “Watching interns struggle with ‘business casual,’ 3 am cell phone ‘wake-up’ calls from native reporters in the Middle East where Chairman Kerry is visiting, counting the number of congressional staffers who volunteered at the WH Easter Egg role just to see the cast of ‘Glee,’ and rediscovering pre-9 pm happy hour.”

tomorrow.

This said, this does not mean he will go there later during this recess (may be he is tired of the rain as much as I am).

Sarkozy starts his Washington tour Tuesday by meeting Sen. John Kerry and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, with climate change a top topic.

2. LOL - Going to trouble spots to avoid the rain
This makes more sense as Kerry was very recently in the Middle East and Netanyahu was just in DC - and relations are tense. The Sarkozy meeting sounds interesting - and I guess that means he returned to DC. It makes sense, with both the work on the climate change bill and on the ratification of START II he would be there.

We have had a huge amount of rain, but nothing like what you in MA had.

3. MSNBC said Sen. Kerry was meeting with The Prez at 11:45 am today
so I am guessing he is in DC and is kind of sticking around the East Coast for bit to see how the flooding situation goes in MA. (Should be fine by Easter.)

5. Good. He did well this week
And the local Senate gang is monitoring the flooding situation quite well. JK is doing well.

6. He sure is!
I'm thrilled and impressed by the energy of his staff (see the Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=fl_1152754580292) supporting JK's own amazing energy on all the issues he cares so deeply about. Feels like everything's clicking in his team in a very exciting way.
