3. He blew off their Elena Kagan (is she gay?) question & went right into

talk about the bill. Notably it restricts offshore drilling and Lindsay Graham will issue a statement in support of the bill today.

JK did a good job.

They're now talking about Afghanistan.

4. I seriously can't believe they had the nerve to ask if Kagan was gay

After all, didn't many Republicans' jaws drop when Kerry said that Coors LGBT outreach person openly gay Mary Cheney was a lesbian? What hypocrites!

It is good that he is getting out that it will have restrictions on drilling - I wish I would have seen it. Thanks for the summary.

5. To clarify they didn't ask IF she was gay but whether all this talk (some photo) was

relevant to her nomination or something like that. It was funny because he said it was irrelevant and totally switched to the energy bill, unprompted. They didn't interrupt him. It was kind of like, "Hey, guys, that's OT. So I'll just start talking about the point of my being on this show, alright?". Their silence meant that they accepted that he was right.

I wanted to throttle that blonde, but Joe, at least, spoke conceded some points like having gotten it wrong about the drilling restrictions. I thought JK did a fantastic job, better than what I saw on the Early Show. Didn't manage to catch the third show either, but will hope for video.
