It's pretty hilarious when even Hot Air is knocking Brown for saying he'll vote no on DADT repeal.

Basically, they think this is a BS political pander move to "conservatives" in MA (who support the repeal, heh!) while they're mad he voted for financial reform. It was weird going through the comments and seeing some of the ignorant remarks about gays in the military. But hilarious how quick they have been to throw that RINO under the bus.

Sen. Scott Brown will vote against repealing 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' when it comes up for a vote Thursday in the Senate Armed Services Committee, dealing a blow to gay rights advocates who were hoping the freshman Republican would support efforts to permit gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military, The Globe's Political Intelligence blog has learned.

Brown's highly anticipated decision comes after President Obama and Democratic leaders struck a deal Monday night to overcome Pentagon resistance to changing the law before a top level review of how to implement a new policy is completed by Dec. 1.

The deal, outlined in a letter to Congress from the White House Office of Management and Budget, stipulates that any congressional repeal would not go into effect until the Pentagon review is completed.

But Brown says that while he is keeping "an open mind" on future efforts, he believes any vote for repeal should be put off until the Pentagon has time to formulate a plan for implementing any new policy.

This is not a vote in line with his state. It really isn't.

Meanwhile, Jim Webb, who I volunteered to help get elected is taking the same position as Brown. Although bizarrely enough, Webb is probably more in line with VA than Brown is in MA.

Does anyone know what the vote tally is?

Republicans say they'll filibuster:

They really come across as jerks.

1. It isn't hard for Senator PickupTruck to keep an open mind
In fact, on a windy day, you can hear the whistle between his ears.

Is there buyer's remorse in Massachusetts yet over this space-headed Ken doll? (Sorry, I just can't take this man seriously.)
