2. What a bunch of bitter, sour haters.
Honestly, I'd hate to live their lives.

3. They really are
It is one thing to still have a bumper sticker supporting a candidate - even Bush, but that they are still invested in a dishonest campaign that was used to distort the image of a man who ran 6 years earlier is pathetic. It is remarkable that elements of the right wing are still invested it those lies.

These are likely the same people who believe that Obama is a Kenyan. In both cases, they do not care that 100% of the documentation is against them - and that these are things where there is solid documentation. It is interesting to think why they still have a need to dispute the obvious truths. In Obama's case, it is easy to understand. He very clearly won election - so this is needed to make the unthinkable - that he is the validly elected President of the US - untrue. With Kerry, it might be more that accepting his war service for what it was shatters their view of him as an elitist empty suit. Seeing him as having been a brave, courageous, caring leader to his men defines a personality and character not easily mocked.

7. Exactly! Their hatred for the man, even these several years later, is astonishing, not to mention

disturbing. Talk about needing to get a life! I guess they need to hold onto that because the guy they were defending in that election cycle turned out to be such a miserable failure, so much so that many on their side act like his presidency never even happened. It's very telling!

I bet they are among the Birthers as well. Wondering why they didn't cover up their 2004 anti JK gear with fresh, anti Obama birther stuff? Unless it's somewhere else on the car..

Pathetic! The true definition of tin foil hat..and then some..

4. That's a very scary truck. I saw one yesterday going against Jane Fonda.
I guess, I think it's kind of weird to still be obsessed with that. Let's ignore the fact that the smears against Kerry were so wrong. Why would somebody still have that on their truck in 2010, 6 years after the 2004 election? It suggests to me someone who has bigger problems in their life than believing propagandic lies. Frankly, based on the truck, I think the person driving it may be mentally unbalanced. Is the occupant a vet, or just someone who, like Michelle Malkin, fantasizes how a vet would be offended by John Kerry's anti-war activities? Who knows. But I tell you -- I see a truck like that, and I would try to actively stay away from them.

6. The good news is
the blog is delightful, and it was nice to read her perspective on some of the event.

I think it's important to see something like this every once in a while - just to be reminded what kind of crazy we're up against.
