Vanessa Kerry is going to a fundraiser to help young Democrats in MA GOTV

Christine Pelosi and Christine PelosiVanessa KerryDr. Vanessa Bradford Kerry will join with the Young Democrats of Massachusetts and Young Democrats of America to host a Get Out The Youth Vote 2010 fundraising reception.

Christine Pelosi, a young political strategist and daughter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and Vanessa Bradford Kerry, a former Director for the Young Democrats of America and daughter of Senator John Kerry will join the Young Democrats to discuss the upcoming elections and help generate resources for YDM's ambitious get out the vote effort in support of the Massachusetts Democratic Party's coordinated campaign efforts for Governor Deval L. Patrick, Lt. Governor Timothy Murray, and the rest of the Democratic ticket.

Her bio information is interesting here - she is pretty amazing - as has been said here often.

About Dr. Vanessa Bradford Kerry: Vanessa Bradford Kerry is the younger daughter of John Kerry and his first wife, Julia Thorne. She gained national recognition while campaigning for her father during the 2004 presidential election. Kerry took a leave from her medical studies in order to campaign for her father's presidential bid in 2004, even introducing him at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of Young Democrats of America and was recently elected as a term member to the Council on Foreign Relations. In addition to her political work, she has written on the impact of trade agreements on affordable drug access for developing countries, as well as the role of governance and international forces on health in these countries. As part of her work, she has traveled to Rwanda and researched the role of NGOs in the country, and their outcomes on public health. She continues to give lectures on her experience on the campaign trail, the current political landscape, and the role of youth in political change. She is a graduate of Harvard Medical School.

I found this page to buy tickets:
http://www.actblue.com/page/bostonyd

and it seems to have a place and a time but no date?

There is, at least, contact info for questions...

ETA: unless it's actually on November 2?

5. Glad I'm not the only one! lol
The press release I saw for this on Twitter almost made it look like it was TONIGHT, but that couldn't possibly be true, could it? I really doubt that both because that wouldn't allow people that much time, if any to get ready even if they are right in Boston and because it looks like they are still raising money for it (from the Actblue page, anyway). But it must be soon as the election is coming up pretty quickly..

I tweeted MAYoungDems on Twitter (where I first saw this) asking but will probably shoot an email to the organizers too. I really want to go to this if at all possible. Would be cool if some of us that are here or could be here could go together! :)

4. You're right - I hadn't noticed - I didn't click on the act blue link
Should I use the supplied email to ask what it is - and point out it is not there or well hidden? As it is a fundraiser it has to be relatively soon.
