My main worry is that the Supreme Court overturns the law. If the law can survive court challenges largely intact, then good things will happen.
BTW, here is an example of what it is like to live in red state Georgia. I took my daughter to the doctor (nothing serious), and as I left after the appointment I saw a sign up in front of his office: "Obamacare is hazardous for your health". I mean WTF??? Why do these rich Republicans have no sense of shame?? This is a place of work, and a place where you are supposed to help people. Not only that, one is supposed to trust a doctor for their judgment, but with this sign, he clearly is an idiot. The truth is not only is the health care reform law NOT hazardous to one's health, it is going to help the overall health of this country! And this doctor is not going to be effected. I mean, he doesn't take medicare patients -- he's a pediatrician for goodness sake! I would add that I would equally be annoyed if there was an anti-Republican message up. Doesn't ANYONE have common sense anymore about keeping politics and religion OUT of the work place?
That and bloody Fox News being always on at my dentist's and primary physician's offices. That crap is bad for one's blood pressure, whether one is a fan or not. It's all about fear and getting everyone upset. They should lose the TV, and just have nice music on plus a treasure trove of magazines.
Okay, red state rant over. I just had to express my frustrations! Nowhere is safe for me.
