The snarkiness on this link is palpable and makes me angry, BUT the picture itself and the fact that JK was just out at Whole Foods, getting groceries "like everyone else" is really cool...and ironic because it proves these jerks wrong in the midst of their mockery! Not that JK has to prove anything to anyone, least of all the Herald/Freeper type goons, but it's cool to see. He's just a really cool, down to earth guy all around (but then again, you all already knew that). :D

3. What is shocking is that it would be news.

Now, I doubt he does it every day for everything he eats (either him or Teresa) and it is also normal as he is very busy and can probably afford somebody doing that for him. But this reminds us that our elected officials are people, not some sort of ethereal bad guy or good guy. I feel desperate sometimes when I see how unrealistic the expectations are.

What is funny is that seeing Kerry doing something very normal and obviously falling all rules of politeness - as you can see he would rather have had a story where Kerry ignored the line etc, they still try to make it that way. The most logical thing is that there was lettuce of some kind at home and he intended to have chicken and a salad. The comments are just as bad.

Not to mention, there is far more in the other Senator's background that is odd - after all it was not Kerry who speaks of having worn pink leather shorts! It is also not Kerry who has raised the complaint that the President has not played basketball with him at least 5 times.
