A good democrat, he was only 63. He was a lead opponent of privatizing social security. May he rest in peace.

when i found out today it was a total shock. i didn't even know he was sick.
but he was a really good guy.
his family was one of those japanese american families interned during WW2. i think he helped to pass bills which helped those families get reparations.

why do I get suspicious every time, esp. when you say he was a major opponent of something the Bushs wanted.
I gotta take off the tin hat. It's not attractive.
May he rest in peace.

4. I am not a tin foil hat type myself |

I dunno really, its just sad honest, yet another guy who will never see what life is like anew under a democratic president. My aunt and godmother never got to see it either, she died in 2001 before 9/11.
