Did y'all get Kerry's latest email?
There's a new ad being produced through the PAC.

Btw, when I went looking for the Kids First Act I couldn't find it. I found a bill on the House side by the same name, but not on the Senate. Am I blind or did it get turned into a House bill?

2. I saw Conyers, but didnt' recognize the rest
But I was using Congress.org, so maybe that wasn't the best source.

Maybe I should go to the Congressional Record itself.

And now there is a related bill in the House:
H.R.1668

Is that a good sign?

Edited on Wed Jun-08-05 09:59 PM by JohnKleeb
Waxman is the RMM of Government Reform, Conyers is that of Judicary, Rangel of Ways and Means, and Dingell of Energy and Commerce. Thats all I know offhand. Those are by and large great endorseres. I think Waxman is a great sponsor to have in the house btw, he knows how congress works very well having been there since 1974.

6. Nice... Glad to see Waxman is the sponsor of the House Bill
There's links to the Kids First Bill and all the sponsor info in a post on LUTD. I didn't post anything here earlier because I assume everyone get's the emails... http://www.lightupthedarkness.org/blog/default.asp?view=plink&id=1037

The Kids First Act (S. 114) is currently sponsored by Senators Boxer, Landrieu, Kennedy, Dayton, Lautenberg, Corzine, Murray and Cantwell. Please join LUTD in asking your Senator to sponsor and support Kids First.

There's a new url too which redirects to KeepingAmericasPromise - http://www.kidsfirstact.com
