I don't think it would be a personal attack...It wouldn't be like I was calling it a big, stupid, orangutan. And I don't think its anymore inflammatory or divisive than the crap it's spewing.

3. Unfortunately, the article was fairly good

and straight to the point, even if I disagree with the author.

Should you support a candidate for his ideas or because you think he can win for whatever reason.

I supported Kerry by idealism more than anything else. I finished liking him personally because I began looking who he was.

The problem is that the people who answered were unable to understand the problem. They are the ones who forget all idealism to choose a candidate who is a superstar.

4. Yes, my (with)held anger was directed

more at the responders than at the original article. I just don't quite understand why the slams are always directed at John Kerry when there are so many other Democrats in the senate (and house) who have done far less than he has to address the difficult issues we're facing. John Kerry is who he is, a methodical man of integrity working tirelessly on our behalf. Just because he isn't some firebrand orator (although I myself love to hear him speak) or rabble-rouser in the street doesn't mean he deserves to be trashed at every turn. I'm just really sick of it.
