Ready to get Rove? Er.... no.... shoot the Dems!!!
Now I'm convinced that the anti-DLC strategy is a right wing creation designed to divide.

1. Take a deep breath.
 It's only a handful of lunatics.

And all of them, no doubt, should be on "ignore."

2. I saw that before....
and I was surprised by the number of people jumping on the bandwagon. I think people are making framing a more powerful thing than it is. Sure there is definatley something to it, but framing is not the only thing. Getting your side of the story out there is more important than the context it is in. So to me, the coordinated "fire rove" message was a good move. It gets people thinking along those lines. Besides, Fitzgerald is going to do what he is going to do, regardless of what the message is.

4. as i have been thinking for a while
these people mostly just want to whine and complain about how something is not perfect. it's easier to do that and feel morally better about themselves than to do the hard work to get change which often requires much more time and effort.

5. I think youre right, either that or pure ignorance
I am not a big fan of the DLC or the thrid way stragety but I realize its not this evil entity people think it is, Anyhow damned if you do, damned if you dont I guess, I think people should be happy that Democrats are calling for Rove to lose his job, god peoples ignorance astounds me, you get democrats calling for Rove to be fired, and people turn this on the Dems. The ignorance of people makes my head hurt badly.

6. what pisses me off the most
is that I have caught the OP in that thread making completely false statements about the DLC several times, usually calling someone who is not a member a member, and then going on to build some conspiracy based on takeover of the Democratic Party by the "Democratic Party Establishment" (whoever that is at the moment), in the context of whatever policy the OP happens to disagree with on that particular day.

I have bought that poster's tendency to spread this kind of disinformation to the attention of the mods several times, with no effect.

7. The worst I have seen is an article by Joshua Frank, a couple days ago
that says that we should give a medal to Rove, because the CIA was so bad that everything that weakens it is good for the country.

8. The sad part is that they are falling in the trap the RW is holding
What happens if what Rove did does not meet the standard of the law. By their standard, we do not even say it is wrong, whether it is lawful or not.
