It just broadsided me. I wasn't even talking about Kerry exactly. It was about Kohl sidestepping me. So I wasn't expecting the Kerry isn't Conyers rant.

God bless Conyers, but really, the man could set himself on fire and nobody'd notice. People love what he's doing, and it is good work, but he's doing what he does, and Kerry is doing what he does. And neither one is getting any coverage.

Conyers thought what Kerry did was a good thing. How can these people simultaneously revere Conyers and not see that he doesn't devalue Kerry's effort. Oh, that's right. It's Kerry. One strike against automatically.

You guys are right, I shouldn't let this stuff get to me. I just get so sick of it sometimes, I go ballistic.

Conyers and Kerry are both courageous, I dont know why so many people have resentments against Kerry, sheesh the guy is a good guy, a great guy I may add.

you know, it hasn't been too bad around here lately - people have been pretty positive, what with the Rove/Plame stuff going on. Sorry you missed it, 'cause the crybabies seem to be out in force tonight.

9. Know it all land (lala land)

I have responded to this poster before, for some reason he thinks that any Dem can just walk on the set of one of these pundit shows and get air time. DUH, told him that is not the way it works, they have to be invited, and we know how much the corporate media loves Kerry. LOL.

But on a side note, I knew Kerry was going to start a PAC about a week or so after the election, so all the hogwash the pundits say about his starting one for a run again is not true, he wanted to keep the fight going and hold on to the unity and momentum of the campaign, and to hold this administration accountable. I also know personally, that he has our backs and that he is going to carry on the fight. I was very lucky and got to talk to him on the phone the Saturday after the election, and I'll tell ya that man will never give up and has so much hope in the American people. So far he has done a hell of a job of working for us, the people.

To get away from the lalas, go to the John Kerry petition site sometime and read the comments, Kerry touched so many, he kept HOPE ALIVE.

Here is just 1 comment that sums up what John Kerry did .

12. The truth of the matter is that Conyers...

is not presidential. Don't get me wrong I LOVE CONYERS! He may be the
truest(is that a word:P ?) dem in the party. He is not afraid to stand up and say what needs to be said, do what needs to be done. He is soft spoken. He's a hero. But there is no comparison to Kerry. Maybe Kerry doesn't do everything we want him to do. Maybe Kerry does play to the middle a little more than we wish. BUT that's what a president does. He steps outside his beliefs to please people that are outside of his political thinking. He realizes that the people like myself that hang out on the internet are only a portion of the population. If he did everything to please us, then he would loose the confidence of the rest of the democrats, and the middle of the road conservatives. That is one of the reasons he will be a great president. And that is the main reason why * is the worst president ever. He only tries to please his base.

As wonderful as Conyers is, could you really see him as president? I can't. Senator, yes.
