these two are doing what is really flip flopping on issues having to do with things such as abortion and gay rights because they want to run for the Republican nomination for president.

i don't see the whore media calling them on it. yet they continually repeated right wing talking points on Kerry being a flip flopper based on him not having a black/white view on the Iraq issue.

they also show me that some of the least right wing Republicans are still far worse to me than some of the most Conservative Democrats such as Bayh, Warner etc.

but it was silly of McCain to do that cameo without checking the entire script out. I didn't see the movie - as it sounds really dumb. From DU, the problem is that one of the techniques used to "crash weddings" was to pose as vets with (fake) purple hearts and apparently as a give away, people could get the purple hearts.

Oddly, I wonder if McCain would have taken a principled stand at the Republican convention - that the PH band aids were beyond politics and were disgraceful, if he would be in better shape on this.

4. The Atlantic has an article on Mitt Romney this month

I didn't read it all, just skimmed it for two words: "Kennedy" and "Kerry", lol.
I never knew that Mittens actually tried to take Kennedy's Senate seat away from him in 1994! He spent 3 million of his own money, only to fail.
As for Kerry and Romney, although Kennedy now speaks respectfully of Romney, "Romney and Senator John Kerry, on the other hand, seem to want nothing to do with each other." :) Good.
