did anyone see this poll on DU asking about Hagel vs Hillary ? at the time i clicked on the thread Hagel actually had more votes than Hillary. and all based on what they have said about Iraq ? how about all the other issues and the fact that Hillary would not have gone into Iraq if she were President ? these people might as well support Buchanan or Novak since they are totally opposed to war with Iraq unlike Hagel. and i guess these people don't have a problem with Hagel voting for the IWR either.

Wake me up, am I on DEMOCRATIC Underground ? So who here is really a progressive? So you would vote for someone who voted for the bankruptcy bill, for CAFTA, for the NRA,for all the radical right judges and the list goes on.

3. if it was Hillary or Kerry who said what Hagel said

i'm sure the responses would have mostly been "so why did they vote for the war" demands for apology and other similar things. while Hagel a Republican who voted for iwr gets comments about how he has guts.

these people don't seem to care that Hagel has a shitty record when it comes to the economy, environment, civil rights etc. and even looking to Iraq while i think Hagel would have been better than BUsh i'm very sure Hillary would not have started a war there as Bush did.

and Hagel hasn't really said anything that Kerry did not already say.
