It's been a rough time for all of us, but I found this post as a reply to Kerry's guest commentary at Blackamericaweb.com about the 40th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act a few weeks ago. There were a few snarky posts, but this one would make Kerry and all of us smile too.

Senator Kerry I strongly agree with your message.

I am ready to fight for the right to vote, I am readyyyyyy. After the last election and how Ohio was basically some of our votes weren't counted because they were absentee ballots was a set up. I never had to submit a absentee ballot and then all of a sudden because they couldnt find my name, I had to submit a absentee ballot and then they weren't counted until two weeks later!!! Oh my goodness, I was salty. SO COUNT ME IN, FOR WHATEVER NEEDS TO BE DONE.
