Pederson gets help from top liberals Kerry, Soros

U.S. Senate candidate and Valley shopping developer Jim Pederson is getting some high-profile help from top liberal Democrats in his campaign against Republican incumbent Jon Kyl.



Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass, included a fundraising plea for Pederson in a recent e-mail he sent to supporters of his 2004 presidential bid.

"Jim is running a strong campaign built around common sense solutions to immigration reform, increased national security, and greater access to quality education and health care," said Kerry of Pederson's 2006 campaign.

Not only am I excited that someone is going to run against Kyl, Mr. Kerry (and Obama) are supporting him.

Just asking, although I assume Kerry is behind good people.

7. Pederson was the head of the Az dem party until just recently

when he decided to run.

Kyl is a jerk! He blamed the people of NOLA for staying there. And he also said that the people of NOLA should not get help with public funds because they either should not have lived there or they should of had insurance.

Pederson has not been in politics before. This is going to be a tough fight. Az is deeply divided. Pederson needs to play to the middle here. The dems will vote for him just to get Kyl kicked out. So he needs to work on the repugs of this state.
