MA/.NH people tickets for 3/11 dinner with JK in Nashua
almost sold out. (Must have been that e-mail the Merrimack Valley Dems sent me that sent them over the top.)

Anyway, if you want to go, hurry up and order the tix, cuz they will be gone soon. Oh, and I have the sneaking suspicion that C-Span will be there. (So don't dress like a blueberry. LEt me tell ya, that's a mistake.)

1. Why oh why
Must I always get an answering machine?? How do you know about C-Span? Fer crying out loud, that's not a good thing.

2. Because it's on a Sat. night and it's at a NH Dems event
and C-Span has been putting NH political dinners on live on Sat nights for a while.

Don't worry about it, I think it's easy to avoid the cameras now. Unlike the last time I was at a C-Span thing in NH, I now can anticipate the cameras and not be where they are looking. Besides, they really are not interested in me anyway, I am just someone in the crowd.

4. Maybe we can meet up early
The place it's going on at is only 7 miles or so from my house. I can be there at 5:00. I will be at Faneuil Hall in the daytime. There is a big to-do for people who are helping Deval Patrick and we said we'd go. (We being my husband and me.)

Hey DD, check in. How many tickets did you get? And Rox, how many did you get?

6. I didn't know I was supposed to get tickets
I can't make it to the event, so I didn't bother to get any tickets.

7. Oh, sorry.
 my bad  Ahm, C-Span may or may not be there  Ahm, I just go sit quietly in the corner for awhile, okay fine.

BTW, I will take plenty of pics, promise. I think I have that florescent and incandescent lighting thing on my camera down now.

Oh crap, just

8. sounds good
I'm getting a bit nervous because nobody has called me back yet. I'll give it another hour or so and try again.

9. It may be staffed at night.
They probably have volunteers who come in and check the mail and everything after work. Give it a day and phone back, just in case.

12. Well....
I just got the one silver sponsorship, which includes 2 tickets for reception and dinner that I told you about before.

Don't know of anyone else who wants to attend. (We need more Dems in NH, especially of the er, MALE variety.)

5. For those of us who live ALL THE WAY across the country,
C-SPAN is a very good thing. :)

11. A little joke on myself.
I attended an event that was tapped by C-Span. I had no idea they were there and was shocked to find myself on TV one fine Sunday evening. I had worn a royal blue sweatshirt and I thought I looked like an overripe blueberry. Sigh!

14. You wore a blue sweatshirt, so? You didn't look as bad as I did.

Something about me and cameras don't mix...and television cameras are even worse. Conan O'Brian looks tan next to me.

You know, come to think of it...every time I go to pay my respects to Sen. Kerry I end up either on camera or on stage! Hmmm...come to think of it. What was common thread in Manchester, Boston and now Nashua? Sen. Kerry AND TayTay. Maybe it's not him...maybe it is the luck of the TayTay. hehe

15. Ah, 'pay your respects'
Ahm, I only ever hear that term used in a rather unpleasant setting. (Ah, that's just my background. Morbid damn bunch of bastids in my family.)

Hey, there was no C-Span in Boston. And I was shocked to wind up on stage. (Hey, I was the one with no pictures with either THK or JK cuz I was in shock over what had happened and was too addled in the brain to ask for a pic.) I am not certain about C-Span, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised. C-Span has been covering a lot of local dinners in NH and Iowa and airing them either live or on the RTTWH series on Sunday nights. This time, I want to be prepared and dress to blend into the background. (No red, no bright colors, nothing at all that shows up on camera. I have your basic black and that seems fine to me.)

Hey, did you get me a ticket, I forget. (And I forgot to ask before. Sorry.)

16. Yes, your ticket is covered. You just need one for your hubby.
So, there is such a thing as the luck of the TayTay? Oops...and I thought I made that up.

Poysonally, I've got the luck of Murphy behind me...you know Murphy, the "whatever can go wrong" guy?
