So we have Democrats recognizing and standing up against "swift boating". We've got a 2004 platform that our Democrats can actually point to, in every area, to show Democrats are right on the issues. And now it looks like we even have Catholic Democrats learning a lesson from how badly John Kerry was treated.
In a way, that says as much about John Kerry as anything. Even though Democrats still won't quite stand up for him, they do know he got a raw deal and they know it because of his character. Too bad they couldn't figure it out and stand up when it would have made a difference. But maybe it'll help make a change for the future.
