GV was in Manchester and DynamicDems and I caught up with her for a few hours of talking, laughing, being naughty and other things associated with JK Group people who get together. (Honestly, having a meetup with folks in this group is like seeing a long lost friend. There are no awkward moments. We act like we have known each other forever.)

GV: you are great. I am definitely going to PA in the fall to work against Santorum. I can't think of a better or more fun thing to do this fall. I can't wait. (Oh, and I mean it. Ater the debates in '04, yeah, I would have. Seriously.)

You can take that to the bank.
You would have fit right in last night. That's all I'm saying.

You had DAMN WELL BETTER come visit us this summer. There will be so much  that Boston may not recover for years.

11. We actually did talk politics
among other things.

The main topic of conversation was how JK is really the only person to get us out of this hell that bush* has created. McCain, obviously, is bought into the bush* doctrine. He scares me, and not much scares me.
Hillary has no solution, and neither do the others.
We talked a bit about THK. Of course, we love her. I can't imagine a first lady who can do more to restore our standing in the international community.

And then, there was the other stuff.

3. Hahaha.
Stand in line, girl friend.

It was so great to see you and DD. What a blast. If you had stayed any longer, I swear I would have died laughing.

I just got home after sitting on the tarmac in Manchester for two hours and in Philly for almost an hour. I thought standby would get me home much earlier, but oh, well.

Worst part of the flight home, I picked up a copy of the USAir magazine, and there's a four page interview with John McCain. Almost had to use the barf bag. We really have to do something to stop all the promotion of that disingenuous moron. What is the appeal of that pasty POS anyway?

So sad I missed the other New England folks, but it was really good to see you and DD. Let's do it again soon!!!

12. I'm glad you had fun
Wish I could have made it! (It sucks only having one vehicle per household.) I hope we'll have more opportunities for mini - and maxi meetups coming up :-)

13. Sorry I missed the fun :-(
Sounds like a good and  time was had by all.

I'm back home and back online. I flew into Manchester last night around 10:00 PM. The trip was mostly uneventful (except for beautiful weather - sunny and near 70 degrees in Atlanta) until Thursday afternoon, when my rental car was rear-ended. Fortunately, no one was injured, although the car had some significant damage. The insurance companies will work things out between rental agency, the other driver, and my employer's insurer.

I'm very glad to be back home.

Rox

14. Rox, I'm so sorry.
I hope you are feeling okay. (No whiplash injuries or anything.)

Welcome home! It sounds like you and GV nearly crossed paths at the Airport.

GV: anytime. We did almost die laughing. It was fun! (And seriously:  )

I am trying my best to pop the McCain bubble. He is just full of it.
