A Status Report on United Nations Reform --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HEARING before the
COMMITTEE ON FOREIGN RELATIONS UNITED STATES SENATE ONE HUNDRED NINTH CONGRESS SECOND SESSION
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, March 14, 2006
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time: 9:30 AM Place: 419 Dirksen Senate Office Building Presiding: Senator Lugar Witness: The Honorable John R. Bolton U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations Department of State New York, New York ***********************
Senator Lugar: I would like to propose that Dem Sens Kerry, Feingold and Boxer get the bulk of the questions. Sen. Biden can't talk for more than 5 minutes and is required to make at least one point that people can clearly see. Ahm, Sen. Coleman can't actually kiss and fondle Bolton anytime during the hearing and must keep his arms and legs inside his spot on the panel at all times. (I suggest guards with tasers when Bolton brings up 'UN Reform.' Otherwise, Coleman won't be able to restrain himself and will start licking Bolton's cheeks. Not good to see.) Also, Sen. Allen is not allowed, under penalty of losing his key to the Extra Special Rethug Senate Bathroom, to call Bolton our 'UN quarterback.' Thanks!
