Kerry Kennedy most favorable in MA according to this poll

(Martha Coakley 3rd? That is more surprising. May be the fact that she was in the news recently?).

Mittens has the most defavorable opinions of all, followed by Kerry and Kennedy (not too surprising because they are the only ones who have no "Do not know" answers).

1. I'm suprised that Mittens scored as well as he did
He's pretty widely despised by most of the people I know around here. But most of them are Dems, so maybe my view of it is skewed.

2. I m not that surprised. There are still a lot of people who think it is

the fault of DiMasi and Traviglini (sp?) (MA House and Senate chairs if you are not from MA) if things dont get done and still buy the outsider label for Romney (The old "it's Beacon Hill's fault" line. That may explain Reilly numbers as well).

I was pleasantly surprised by Kerry that close from Kennedy though. I had seen polls a few months ago where he was a lot closer to Romney. That is good news.

5. I'm not surprised on Sen. Kerry
He is basically where he was on Nov 2nd, 2004 in the Bay State where he got 63% of the State's vote for President. I think the Alito filibuster helped the Senator at home. It showed that he is a person who holds to certain principles and will fight for them.

The funniest part of Sen. Kerry's ratings are the 0% who have no don't know who he is. Ever Teddy K got 1% here. Apparently, there is no one in Massachusetts who doesn't know who Sen. Kerry is. That is really interesting and unique in this poll.

Mittens is weak at home. I really sense an opening for the Dems this year. I saw Tom Reilly address the DCI last week and he was miles better than he was last year when he addressed the Issues Convention. He was relaxed, funny and impressive. It is a real race between Reilly and Deval Patrick. Reilly had better rethink his position on no Dem primary debates though. I think people are expecting some real barn-burners and will be disappointed in no debates.

3. Cool graphics!
Wow! Duval has a 50% do not know; time to get the word out. Kerry and Kennedy have great numbers.

4. Seems pretty bad for Barbie Healey - Even Chris Gabrielli beats her
in this poll and he is not even officially candidate.
