this article is about how the Dems held off on Feingold's censure proposal while Bill Frist wanted it right now.

the reason the Dems held off was because they wanted to investigate and question. the Republicans with a majority could put the entire thing behind them by having the vote now since they will easily defeat it.

yet the responses in the thread are all about "spineless" Dems and other crap.

also, i have heard comments from people asking how we know Feingold didn't contact any other Dems about the censure. it's because Feingold himself said so when he mentioned it first.

these morons would probably have been calling the Dems to support FRIST on having hte vote now.

1. Its better to study something in advance

Ive heard that Feingold hadn't alerted anyone to this either, I certainly am not mad at the man for calling for a censure of Bush but I wish he had a few Democratic senators behind him on it, as Kerry and Kennedy's responses have told us, they would have been willing particpiants, havent heard about possible other slike Durbin, Obama, Boxer, yet.
