1. Okay, I'm changing his nickname
Senator Sea Slug. It's poetic, it's a perfect description of him and he it came out of his own mouth.

Allen denies job boring; foes perk up at report

BY TYLER WHITLEY
TIMES-DISPATCH STAFF WRITER Mar 28, 2006

U.S. Sen. George Allen, R-Va., says he is not bored with the Senate, just frustrated at its slow pace.

"It moves at the pace of a wounded sea slug," he said yesterday after a meeting with Gov. Timothy M. Kaine and other members of the Virginia congressional delegation at the Executive Mansion.

All those in favor of changing Allen's nickname, say Aye!

Ahm, new people, I have nicknames for a lot of Senators.
Sen Durbin = Sen. Sweetie
Sen. Session = Sen. Slow (Mentally and in his speaking style)
Sen. Kerry =

whoops gotta go.

2. More allen from that article
Allen said he looks forward to returning to the Senate and working on national security, creating jobs and preserving the nation's values.

"There needs to be more action," Allen said of the Senate. "There is too much concern with process."

SNIP

After Allen's speech in Cedar Falls, Iowa, recently, a man fell on his face trying to catch one of the former University of Virginia quarterback's soft tosses. The man was not hurt.

OMFG! Sen. Sea Slug is a danger to himself and others. What a friggin retard.

3. His idea of the nation's values
Is refering to the slaves as settlers on our Standards of Learning tests. The guy I think is worse than Bush personally sicne at least Bush doesn't openly show that he's backwards on race issues. Allen had a confederate flag in his office, I know we all hate Bush's fake Texan shit but a President Allen's fake confederate shit is much worse. Did I mention that he like George Dubya is a huge proponent of the death penalty, I believe Virginia had teh highest rate of executions in the 90's, Texas had the msot but I think we had the highest.

5. He passes the beer test! OMFG!
Political analysts say Mr. Allen's likability is his biggest strength. Even
Democrats say he passes the beer test, as in he seems like the kind of guy with
whom one would want to drink beer. Stuart Rothenberg, the editor of a
nonpartisan political newsletter, has said that if Ronald Reagan and George W.
Bush were put into a blender, you would come out with George Allen.
----- NYTIMES 3/26/06

Who came up with this test? Who in the Democratic Party wants to have a beer with him? I would have to have a whole friggin keg before I would go anywhere near this moron.

OMFG. Have a beer with George Allen. I am disgusted today.

6. I wouldn't have a beer with him
He'd probably go on and on about how Joe Gibbs will lead the Redskins back to the super bowl and how what Snyder goes in regards to how he does football is great. Now someone like Kerry who knows a lot of shit would be intersting to have a beer with, though I myself am not much a beer drinker more of a hard liquor type, does Guinness count as beer or liquor? I don't think he's likable at all, he's very arrogant and is a bigot.

7. John Kerry is a great guy to have a beer with, and he doesn't drool
He is conversant on football and basketball, although I am not, so I would have to change the subject, should I ever come again have this come up. (Red Sox? Yeah, no New Englander is able to resist a Red Sox discussion. It's hard-wired into the brain. Hmmmmmm, I wonder what he thinks of the Sawx for '06. I wonder if he thought about what it meant to send Bronson Arroyo to Cincinnati and how the Sawx really screwed Arroyo over and if that was fair or if we should just concentrate on the new guy and his bat. Sigh!) Guinness does count as imbibing alcohol, though it's actual alcohol content is fairly low.

I could never have a beer with Sen. Sea slug. He is just odious. And I would have this strange compulsion to put a bib on him.

8. Speaking of baseball
I think the AL East will be different than its been the past few years, I think the Jays could be a great team. I am hoping its the Yankees who suffer the most as a result of the power shift because I hate them like no one's business, its also the last year of Mussina's contract and I want to see the look on my face when I find out that Mussina went to NY to win a world series then never got one and will probably leave the Yankees at the end or maybe even mid year. They're getting older too, I know you guys are gonna miss Damon but they overpaid him big time. I think its gonna be just another typica year for the Orioles, I hate to say it but our best offseason asquisation was a pitching coach, hopefully Mazzone has some magic in him. The guy you guys got for Arrojo, Pena is a pretty decent player actually.

9. He is, but Arroyo got screwed
He took a hometown discount in order to sign to continue playing with the Red Sox this year. His agent warned him that he shouldn't sign for that price, since that made him an attractive player for trade in low and middle-market baseball teams. He signed in order to stay in (heavenly) Boston. Boston saw his low (relatively speaking) salary and promptly traded him for Pena. Sigh!

10. Pretty classless thing to do
on management's part, Arroyo seems like a clasy guy who is the kind that plays for the team more so than the money which is something I appreciate in sports. I think I am in for a long summer as far as baseball goes, I'd rather realize that the Orioles will miss the playoffs immediately this year than last year's trick of faith where I actually believed the Orioles would make it and that the Yankees would be celler dwellers, sigh didnt turn out that way.
